A comedy with elements of the theatre of absurd, revolving around three blacksmiths that achieved their best during times of war when they served as soldiers, failing however to prove themselves in every other segment of their lives. In the end, the meaning of life turns out to be making knifes for the next war that they all miss. The Serbian blacksmith comes back after 30 years to a German blacksmith shop were he spent his days as a war prisoner during the Second World War. He sneaks into the blacksmith shop, in which he spent many wonderful days, and with great excitement and happiness, he starts to forge. The German blacksmith comes in to catch what he believes to be a burglar. He stops in shock, totally bewitched by the face of the intruder because it reminds him of someone, but he can’t figure out whom. Soon he realizes that this face reminds him of the face of his own son, which, as the story unfolds, turns out not to be HIS son...
